Alexis Broderick Neumann has been awarded an extension on her University of Pennsylvania Libraries fellowship for 2017-2018! This reappointment is a testament to how highly the Libraries have valued her contributions.
In addition, Alexis will serve as the McNeil Center Brown Bag Coordinator for 2017-18.
Alexis's dissertation is titled "American Incest: Kinship, Sex and Commerce in Southern Slavery and Reconstruction." Her committee is: Prof. Stephanie McCurry (advisor); Prof. Roger Chartier; and Prof. Steve Hahn.
