The 2019 Graduate Research Symposium at the College of William and Mary has awarded Grant Stanton a Prize for Excellence in Scholarship for his paper “The Language of Liberty: Petitioning for Freedom in Revolutionary Massachusetts, 1773-1777.” The prize committee consisted of faculty and members of the Graduate Studies Advisory Board at the College.
