This summer, Hannah Anderson will be a short-term fellow at the John Carter Brown Library at Brown University, and in 2019-2020, she will be a pre-doctoral fellow in early American history at the American Philosophical Society. Both fellowhsips support her work on her dissertation, entitled "Lived Botany: Households, Ecological Adaptation and the Origins of Settler Colonialism in Early British North America."Her committee consists of Kathy Brown (advisor,) Dan Richter, and Etienne Benson (History and Sociology of Science).
