Jeremy Dell has accepted a tenure-track position at the University of Edinburgh, to begin in January 2020, following his completion of a Modern Intellectual History (MIH) post-doctoral fellowship at Dartmouth College. Jeremy successfully defended his dissertation, "Saving Tradition: Genres of Islamic Knowledge in Senegal and the Western Sahel," in 2018 under the supervision of Cheikh Babou (chair), Eve Troutt Powell, and Steven Feierman.
