that Jing Sun has received a research grant from the Rockefeller Archive Center as well as a 12-month Japan Foundation Research Fellowship. The latter will take her to Tokyo starting in November 2019. Jing’s dissertation is currently entitled “Nurturing a Robust Society: Japan in the Making of a Global Science of Nutrition, 1908-1951.” Her committee consists of Fred Dickinson (chair), Siyen Fei, and Walter McDougall.
