Nimrod Ben-Zeev has been awarded a 2019-20 graduate fellowship by Penn’s Andrea Mitchell Center for the Study of Democracy, to complete work on his dissertation, "Foundations of Inequality: Construction, Political Economy, and the Senses in Israel/Palestine, 1918-1993." His committee consists of Eve Troutt Powell (chair), Kathy Brown, Heather Sharkey (Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations), Sherene Seikaly (University of California at Santa Barbara) and On Barak (Tel Aviv University).
