Makiki Reuvers recognized with the School of Arts and Sciences Dean's Award for Distinguished Teaching by Graduate Students

Makiki Reuvers has been recognized with the School of Arts and Sciences Dean's Award for Distinguished Teaching by Graduate Students for the 2019-2020 academic year.  These awards are presented annually to graduate students in the arts and sciences to recognize their contributions to teaching at the undergraduate level.  The award recognizes teaching that is intellectually rigorous, exceptionally coherent, and has had considerable impact on students.

 

Makiki is pursuing a dissertation titled Bodies of Empire: the Political, Religious, and Corporeal Makings of English Subjecthood in Seventeenth-Century New England.  Makiki’s Dissertation Committee is:  Dan Richter (advisor), Kathy Brown, and Sally Gordon.
