Early American Studies, An Interdisciplinary Journal

Sponsored by The McNeil Center for Early American Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, Early American Studies is a semiannual journal dedicated to publishing original research on a broad range of topics. Each issue is organized with the goal of fostering research and scholarly inquiry into the histories and cultures of North America in the Atlantic world before 1850. Special emphasis is focused on topics and issues centered in the mid-Atlantic region.
 

The Jewish Quarterly Review

A publication of the Center for Advanced Judaic Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Established in 1889, JQR is the oldest English-language journal in the field of Jewish studies, preserving the attention to textual detail while now reaching out to a wider and more diverse audience.
 

Journal of the Early Republic

A quarterly journal committed to publishing the best scholarship on the history and culture of the United States in the years of the early republic (1776–1861).
 

Journal of the History of Ideas

Since its inception in 1940, JHI has served as a medium for the publication of research in intellectual history that is of common interest to scholars and students in a wide range of fields. It is committed to encouraging diversity in regional coverage, chronological range, and methodological approaches.
 

Kritika: Explorations in Russian and Eurasian History

Kritika is dedicated to critical inquiry into the history and culture of Russia and Eurasia. Since 2000 Kritika has been dedicated to internationalizing the field and making it relevant to a broad interdisciplinary audience.

 

Penn History Review

Founded in 1991, the Penn History Review is a journal for undergraduate historical research. Published twice a year through the Department of History, the journal is a non-profit publication produced by and primarily for undergraduates. The editorial board of the Review is dedicated to publishing the most original and scholarly research submitted for our consideration.
