Eric Schluessel (Associate Professor of Chinese and Central Asian History, George Washington University) will be giving a talk in the on-going Ottoman and Persian History New Book series at 5:30 on Th, Jan. 25, to which all are welcome.  He will also be hosting a special lunch just for graduate students at 1:30 the next day, Jan. 26.  See below poster for more information.  This is a rare opportunity to learn something about the state of Uyghur history today.
